Meet The Owner
Helen Jane Dowd
Helen Jane Dowd launched her business “Operation Organize” in
January 2001 — the same month she became the 27th member to join the Professional
Organizers in Canada, an organization which now has over 600 members.
Helen received her silver-leaf recognition from POC in 2006, acknowledging
her standing as an experienced organizer.
Helen has gained valuable experience by organizing, volunteering and working with many organizations, including Milverton Co-op Nursery School, Milverton School-age Program, Milverton Women's Initiative Committee, the 0-6 Club at Perth East Public Library, Milverton Synchrosonic – Synchronized Skating Team, Milverton Agricultural Society, Perth East Library Board and Mornington Communications Co-operative Ltd. Helen was chosen Milverton Citizen of the Year in 2002, and in 2007 was nominated for Perth County Woman of the Year.
Helen also shares her passion for life with audiences as a motivational speaker, revealing her secrets to success to those who are keen to listen.
In 2010 Helen received the "Leading Women, Building Communities
Award" from Laurel Broten, Minister Responsible for Women's
Issues.
She was nominated by John Wilkinson, MPP, who presented the
award.
